The Horsemen

        The four horsemen are very powerful, immortals who are thought to be brothers. Their names are War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. They cause widespread destruction all over the face of the Earth under the instruction of Lucifer, during the start of the apocalypse. 

War

 Known as the Red Horseman, war is the horsemen who appears first out of all of them and contributes to the apocalypse by forcing people to see danger when there really is none. He is able to trick the minds of the people like this through using his pure gold ring.War travels in a red Mustang which represents his red steed.

Famine

        Known as the Black Horseman, Famine is the horsemen which when he pollutes the air around him, all are infected with the inner urges and desires that their soul secretly craves more then anything else in the world. He wears a sliver ring that enables him to affect his victim’s inner urges, and needs, which causes them to go insane for what they crave. Famine travels in a black Cadillac Escalate  He also craves something of his own. He is always hungry for souls.

Pestilence

        Known as the Pale Horsemen, Pestilence creates and manipulates the vast spread of infections infestations, infections, sickness and other diseases that are deadly. When he is travelling the way to know he is coming is because  he is accompanied and followed by swarms of flies.He appears third wearing a ring with a green emerald inside and he rides around in a green Hornet Wagon.

Death
         Known as the White Horseman, Death is associated with Famine, War and Pestilence, however he is much older and more powerful than all of them put together. He can kill by creating storms like tsunamis, and hurricanes. He can also kill someone by just bumping into them and giving a simple gesture afterwards like the flick of a shoulder. Death wears a ring with a white stone; unlike his brothers, Death's powers do not come from his ring. Death can also resurrect dead people. Death is not free he is under the control of Lucifer and is forced to act under his direction, but resents him for it. The last time Death was free, "Noah was building a boat". After Lucifer is defeated, death remains free and directs the reapers, and helps return Sam's soul. 

I Love Luci...fer

        Once 66 seals are broken by Lilith and other demons working for her, Lucifer, the fallen angel is released from his cage in Hell and brought back to Earth to begin the apocalypse. Both Sam and Dean are in St. Mary's Convent in which the cage was built over and they are in the room where the blood of the first demon is shed allowing him to get out of his imprisonment and find his vessel.
       



Before he can truly do any horrendous damage on the world that he despises, he needs to find a vessel to hold him. His one true vessel is Sam Winchester  however, Sam hates the idea of being the vessel of such an evil being that desires to wipe out half the worlds population and burn the earth to a crisp. 
       




So Lucifer has to substitute in a different vessel that is not as suitable to him as is Sam. One of the reasons why Sam is his vessel is because Sam had demon blood surging through his veins as an infant. This helped him be able to hold down the necessary demon blood Lucifer needs in his vessel to have it stay alive. While on Earth, Lucifer, with the help of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, causes chaos and natural disasters. He intends to destroy humanity and to kill Michael.

66 Seals

        These seals were created by God to secure Lucifer in his cage in the depths of Hell. There are over six hundred different seals however only only sixty six need to be broken to release Lucifer from his imprisonment. The first and last seals are very important and have to be a certain type of seal.

       


The first seal is broken when a righteous man sheds blood in hell. Dean is the one who breaks this seal. When Lilith's hell hounds drag him to hell. For thirty years down there he was tortured and ripped to bits then he finally decided to do the torturing. The demons intended John Winchester to break this seal but Dean did it instead.


Then the final one is called: "The first Demon will be the last seal." So Lilith, the original demon Lucifer created must be killed for him to rise to Earth. So Sam ends up killing her breaking the final seal, and starting the apocalypse.
Other seals which are broken during this time are as followed:
Rise of the Witnesses, which are the ghosts of the people who were killed and not saved by the brothers.

Raising of Samhain, the pagan god which kills people on October 31st unless people are covered with blod and gore, also known as a mask.

A teacher in New York killing sixty-six students
Death of two reapers on the night of the solstice (unbroken)

Angels

 Quote: "Dean, there is ten times as much lore about angels as there is about anything else we've ever hunted."
"yeah, you know what? There's a ton of lore on unicorns too. In fact, I hear that they ride on silver moonbeams and they shoot rainbows out of their ass!"
"Wait, there's no such thing as unicorns?"
        
Angels first come into the world of the Winchesters once Dean is raised from Hell. These angels are beings god created as his children. They live up in heaven and go into human vessels, to walk on earth. These angels have to get permission from the vessel before they can enter them. The angels can only be killed by the sword they carry around. The angel which does this is Castiel. He is the only angel that actually sides with the Winchester's. He is a bright blue eyes angel who always wears a trench coat. When he first meets the brothers Castiel has no sense of humor or any type of humanity. However, since being around the Winchetser's for so long, he has grown accustomed to their witty remarks and starts to fall from heaven. 
       









         A lot of angels are against what Sam and Dean are doing so they get in the way. One of these angels is first known as the trickster, then known as Loki and finally gives out his real identity as Gabriel the arch angel. He is a meddlesome angel who likes to mess with peoples' heads, making sure they get their just desserts. He then tries to help the brothers after one of his  tricks which ended with him killing off Dean hundreds of thousands of times, making Sam relive it. 



        Zachariah is another angel, which enjoys making the Winchesters' lives miserable. He claims that he wants to save the earth. So the brothers figure he means that he wants to stop the apocalypse. This is not the case because he wants to rid the world of the evil humans bring into the world. So he is trying to force the brothers to allow other angels to use them as vessels themselves and allow the Apocalypse to happen the way it was supposed to. 

Powerful Women of Supernatural

         During the year Dean is trying to get out of his deal, he meets many women, who are for the majority of the time against him. The only human woman is Bella Talbot. She is the type to only cares about money.
        Even when she was the age of eleven, her parents were drowning in a lake from a car crash and she killed them. She got her parents into the car crash because she sold her soul to a demon. She then collected the family money and moved out of England.
        Now all grown up, she steals and swindles hunters weapons, she then sells them for a hefty price afterwards. she continues this until her ten years are up which happens to be the week before dean goes down.


The rest of the women are all demons.

        One being one of the first demons to be shown on the show. This demon is prepossessing the body of a girl by the name of Meghan Masters. She appears to Sam when he is trying to leave the life and he goes around looking for people to give him rides. As a fellow hitchhiker, she meets him and ends up following him, and keeping track of where the Winchester boys are in the country.
     
       

The boys then find her saying an incantation and assume that she is a witch, however that is not the case. This blonde beauty is a demon. She changes bodies after Sam uses an exorcism spell on him and expels her from her original body. Even though she is no longer in the body of Meghan Masters, she still keeps the name Meg.

         Another of the demons is the conniving Ruby. She is a fiery blonde demon who first meets the boys when she runs into a fight they are in up against twelve other demons. She storms in with only a knife and takes them all out in minutes. She continuously tells Sam that she only wants to help him, help him stay alive. However she has deeper plans than just helping a kid right out of law school find his way. She's got bigger plans stirring that can only spell trouble for the Winchesters. The way Ruby became a demon was when she was human, she went into witch craft. When a human decides to become a witch they sell their soul without really knowing it, that is how they get their power source from.

         The final demon is the most powerful, and the oldest. This is the original demon that goes by the name of Lilith. Lucifer created her from the soul of a human and twisted and corrupted it until it manifest into a demon, a black evil swarm of smoke. Since she was the first child of Lucifer she thinks its nice symbolism to take the bodies of little, innocent girls.  When Dean is trying to find the demon who holds the contract to his deal it is she who holds it in her small little hands. Even though she might look and act small and innocent, she is a very torturous and pure evil demon. She is the demon that all other demons are afraid of because of her power and strength.

Dean and the Deal

        Dean Winchester made a decision the night that Sam had to duel another psychic. Sam was fighting  Jake Talley, the special child with superhuman strength. When they were fighting Dean and Bobby were trying to find and save Sam. Once they got to the old abandoned ghost town, it was too late as the two of them rush to Sam from the back stabbing Jake, (literally).
        Bobby tries to tell Dean to just to give Sam a hunters funeral. however, Dean,too heart broken from this traumatic event decides to sell his soul in replacement of Sam's. Dean goes and brings Sam back to life, but with a price. Unlike other deals the crossroads demon only allowed Dean one year to live instead of the usually ten. Desperately Dean takes the year and reunites with his brother. The demon warned Dean that if he found a way out of the deal, Sam would instantly die.

        The year goes by unsuccessfully and Dean can start to see hell fire. As they try to go up against the demon holding his contract he can see the true faces of demons. He also gets dreams of hell hounds and burning in hell. This helps him figure out who to kill in a more efficient manor. However  none of it helps when the clock strikes midnight and the hell hounds use him as a chew toy and drag his soul to the pit.
        After Dean dies, Sam tries to raise him from hell with no luck. Even though it was only four months for Sam on earth it was more like forty years down in hell for Dean. Finally, after that long amount of time, someone or something grabs Dean and yanks him out of hell and back into his body. The only mark on him is of the hand which puled him out.
        The hand will soon be owner of the name, Castiel the angel. He is in a vessel which is like possession only that the human allowed the angel in the body. He is an angel who can smite demons and a lot of other creatures with just the touch of his had to their face. He is a blue eyed man in a suit with a trench coat over it it. he doesn't understand may ways of humans but slowly becomes one as he falls from heaven. 
     

Robert Singer

Who is Bobby Singer?

        Robert "Bobby" Singer. Is a sixty two year old hunter, who used to be old friends with John, the brothers father. He is a man who is always wearing a old baseball cap and scruffy beard. When ever you see him he is wearing a t-shirt and sweatshirt or old plaid shirt.

        They finally meet him after John gives his soul to the yellow eyed demon to save Dean. He owns Singer Salvage Yard out in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He is a hunter who first was introduced to the whole world of supernatural when his wife Karen, was possessed by a demon. He had no idea on what to do with her so the only option was for him to kill her.
        He then committed his life to hunting creatures just how John and the boys dedicated theirs. Bobby, is the type of hunter who everyone else goes to for information on creatures. He has libraries full of lore and other myths which rein as true facts. It is his extensive collection on the supernatural which should Sam and dean how to create devil's traps and exorcism.
His house is big and a cluttered mess. Its a surprise he ever finds the books he is looking for half the time. His house is fully equipped with all the common things a hunter needs.Including:
iron rods
rock salt
painted devils trap
silver knives
machetes
and an amazing panic room that assures all supernatural beings can't enter.

        After the death of John the brothers stayed with Bobby and he allowed Dean to rebuild the Impala. He then is an active part in the boys lives from then on out. He becomes the father figure for the boys until the day he dies and even then he still sticks around for awhile.
